57 Days….

57 Days – until our home opener April 7 at Frontier Field. 57 being an operative number because in February, 1957, Wings President Morrie Silver presented the St. Louis Cardinals with a check for half a million dollars – sealing the deal for Rochester Community Baseball to purchase the franchise and Red Wing Stadium from the Cards.

In case you missed our award-winning coverage from TwinsFest – presented by United Airlines, The Hotel Minneapolis and AT&T – here’s the link to our blogs and photos which breathlessly document our experience. Coming up in the next week: the debut of the RedWingsBaseball.com 90-Second Egg, tasty video interviews with pitchers Scott Diamond and Glen Perkins, and INF Brian Dozier
